The manager of the Sandbox programme (aka the Sandboss) Maria will step on the stage herself. Font lover, Graphic Designer, Entrepreneur, and Educator in the design field. These are only a few keywords to describe her. At the Font Safari she will share her passion for typography. 🔎🕵️♂️
Fonts are no longer just for graphic designers - thanks to technology and all the devices we use. Fonts play a vital role in our everyday life. We all are under the influence of type. They help us to navigate, to shop and sometimes even keep us safe. 🚧
During this workshop Maria will help us discover how exactly fonts influence us, how they can set the right mood. She will also share insights that will help us choose the right typefaces for projects. After the session we’ll learn to notice the forms of words around you and to create letters from everyday things. But most of all - Maria promises that we’ll have a looooot of fun during the very hands-on workshop. 👻💃🕺🏽
